We are a small
breeder/exhibitor dedicated to breeding sound, healthy,
well-adjusted Chihuahuas with excellent temperaments that conform to the AKC
breed standard and type. Genetic health issues such as bad Patellas and Heart
problems are prevalent in this breed. We strive to produce Chihuahuas that are free
from these hereditary problems. Just because a breeder advertises AKC that does
not guarantee the quality or health of the puppies, or lineage.
Many people are impressed with the rainbow of colors and "T-Cup" size advertised by some breeders. This is a marketing strategy, and does not guarantee a mentally and physically healthy Chihuahua. This is a Buyer Beware market - do your homework and look for a reputable breeder. Go to dog shows, contact your local breed club, do not buy on a whim. READ the AKC standard and ask the breeder what are they doing for the breed. Do they show? Do they breed to the AKC standard? How long have they shown dogs? Never be afraid to ask, ask, ask.
All our dogs and puppies are raised in a home/family environment. They are
first and foremost members of our family. Lots of Love, Time and Thought go
into each breeding we do. Our first priority is the very best
home for any of our Chihuahuas. We do not sell our puppies
to pet shops, indiscriminate breeders, or puppy mills!
A Chihuahua is a lifelong commitment, and is not a dog for everyone.
